How to Bring Back Classic Menus and Toolbars to Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and 365? |
There will be two kinds of style for drop cap: dropped and in margin. You can decide which one is suitable for you. What if the size of drop cap is too large or too small to meet your needs? Actually you can adjust the drop cap size by dragging the lower right corner of the drop cap up and to the left to shrink its size to span only two lines of the text. "Drop Cap Options" is very important, with which you can specify the number of lines the drop cap is to span as well as the distance from the surrounding text and the font used.
If you have not Classic Menu for Office:
Open a document in Word 2010 or 2007, and select the letter you want to insert as drop cap. Click on the "Insert" tab,
and in the "Text" group you can find "Drop Cap" button. Click it, and hold the mouse pointer over your choice to see a preview in your document. The steps to decide the size and modify the drop cap are the same as the steps I introduce below.
